Unravelling and weaving, sometimes simultaneously

The Sun Returns

The sun
The sun
The sun returns
After the longest night
In winter’s cold
there’s stories told
around the fire’s light
In each one’s heart
there is a spark
that grows to join the flame
The sun
The sun
The sun returns
For each of us the same

The sun
The sun
The sun returns
The Solstice tells us so
So we can bear
the dark and chill
because within we know
There’s ever hope
In shadow’d hour
A promise we can name
The sun
The sun
The sun returns
For each of us the same
